Through these unforgettable characters, Padmarajan explores love and makes us wonder the various shades that exist in it. Even I had ignored the movie for long, till one fine, I stumbled upon it and then it was a beautiful experience and since then I've been in search of all possible interpretations of the movie.

I gather that Clara believed that she was not worthy of Jayakrishnan and decided to move out of his life but at another level, it is possible that she's a wanderer and rejects the notions of marriage and family. Even though she marries to Soman at the end, I am not too sure whether there is a permanence even in that relationship. She's arguably one of the boldest and complex portrayals of women that you find in Malayalam cinema and while you may cast her as a woman of loose character or debauched in the hands of another director, here she becomes an embodiment of unattainable love that is so near yet so far.E Pradeephttp://epradeep98.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30383704.post-60407729645824539392012-01-28T22:14:41.539+05:302012-01-28T22:14:41.539+05:30Dear friend..njan e cinema palavattam palabhaganga...Dear friend..njan e cinema palavattam palabhagangal ayi kandirunu....pakshe enik onnum kathiyirunilla....but njan 2009 march masathile avasana varathil ath muzhuvanayi kanan edayayi athinu sheasham enikhu athu oru cinema ayi kanan thoniyilla sherikum oru jeavithum...pole ayirakanakinu manushiarude jeavithathinu oru udhaharanamanu ee cinema.....athil ente jeavithavum undenu enikh sherikum thoni poyi....and it becoms my favourite filim...jayakrishnante chila pidivashikal enteth kudi anenu thoni....arkum pettenu manasilakan pattatha oral..adukum thorum ayalude nishkalankathayum sincearitiyum kudunu......Njan innu vare kanditullathil vechu aetavum shakthamaya sthree kathapathramanu clara..ente aetavum valiya nadakatha agrahamanu ee filim onnu remake cheythu kanan but no one can act better than any one in this filim .ithile dialogs onnu sredhiku enthoru orginality anu. aaa dialogs enne athoru cinema anennu vishuasikan samathikunilla because athu sherikum aaa sahacharyathi oru manushyan respont cheyuna pole anu.engane anu padmarajan sir aaa dialogs ezhuthiyath......awesome....only 1 question is remains...enthukondu clara jayakrisnane marry cheyathe thettilek ulla vazhi theranjeduthu.....?
oru pakshe avalude nisuarthatha ayirikam...aval jayakrishnanu cherna bendham alla enna thonal akam.....aval ennum sthreagalk oru madhrukayanu....Thats why I Love Clara....
Sherikum njan googlel Thuvanathumbikalude script serch cheyth keriyathanu eee blogilekh.......ene pole chinthikuna kurachu peru kudi undenu arinjathi valare adhikam santhosham....Sujith KDhttp://www.facebook.com/sujith.K.Dnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30383704.post-34462409595206282982011-08-01T00:42:24.835+05:302011-08-01T00:42:24.835+05:30I happened to bump in to this post, but it is an e...I happened to bump in to this post, but it is an excellent analysis of Thoovanathumbikal. Its because when you are certain about something or someone, there is every chance that you stop visiting or even stop thinking about it or them. But when you are uncertain, it keeps poking your mind everytime. That's exactly what is Padmarajan and this typical movie of his', "Thoovanathumbikal". Perhaps hundreds or even thousands of times, comments and reviews have been written over the years about this masterpiece, and so I do not have anything else to tell. But on your article...
